From inside and outside our home to our office space, there are plenty of easy tips and options available to make our activities more green. There are also dedicated sections for air, water, and land, containing information on issues, initiatives, and resources, as well as links to relevant sites such as Drive Clean Ontario, E-Zone for kids, and Obviously.ca, an interactive site.
At the federal level, Government of Canada's ecoACTION website has information on environmental action rebates, publications, and energy calculators all designed to assist you in becoming a greener consumer and save you money in the process.
The facts are in and the conclusions undeniable - our energy consumption and our use of natural resources are having huge negative impacts on the environment. But there are small changes that we can make as individuals that will not only benefit the environment but will also help save us money.
